TOTP as a service

Hi Indiehackers,

I have been thinking about providing TOTP APIs as a service for consumers who want to add MFA to their applications but do not want to build it themselves and maintain it.

Do you think there is merit in it, especially when

1. Auth0 and likes provide the whole end to end flow for authentication including a way to turn MFA on (TOTP, based and more)
2. It will be offering only 1 part of the whole login or verification solution

I wanted to build a thing that is small enough and put it out, but not build a whole Login solution, since there are tons out there already.
