Trends in Website Builders?
Website builders is a competitive space, every product seems to have a block editor and ability to design websites.
Even so, I think a lot of people still want and have difficulty making a website, I see this a lot in my local scene.
Are there any trends you have observed in this space?
It is a blocker for several people; and I've been thinking about possibility of offering custom designs for cheap.
The target userbase I'm looking at is super non-technical; but yet want to have their own online presence.
What are your ideas of custom designs? How do you scale them out, or do you incorporate existing templates, or component libraries such as Tailwind.
I'm in the same boat with the non-technical target audience. But because they are non-technical, I find that they also tend to be harder to reach.

Based on my observation, the requirements for 99% of these target clients are very basic: 1 or 2 page websites with text, images and maybe embedded videos. A designer can pick a template and customize it in a hour or so.
You're right - these audience are difficult to reach. I'm not thinking about scale - because manual efforts can't be skipped.
I recently noticed dev.page trending on Product Hunt - and they simply let you create developer profile pages. I'm thinking of a similar idea for non-technical people.

dev.page is interesting, I think they execute well, one button to create page, next button to link to github, and a lot of your information is pulled in without much effort.
Maybe simply focusing on ease of use will go a long way.
In saying that, I think the templates need to be top notch.
That's just my understanding from delving into this recently.
