Tried and tested tips for launching on PH

How to be one of the featured products on PH ?🚀
Launching soon on PH, any tips?

Came across these questions a lot since last week, so decided to make a post on this.✌

A little background, we launched our tool zScout by Zintlr on June 22nd, this year (on a Thursday, a very competitive day plus almost the end of the week) and ranked as #1 product of the day and #3 product of the week with 780 upvotes and 317 comments (in 24 hours). 🥁

And all this with just 2 to 3 days of preparation 💪 #zintlrteam

So here are some key pointers.

1. Get maximum supporters in your support queue by engaging in various communities.
2. Make sure to get any new accounts warmed up, as you may lose some upvotes if PH finds anything fake or fishy.
3. Don't just ask people to upvote but also comments, and be quick to reply back to the comments
4. Keep the reviews section equally engaging
5. Do not use bots or many fake accounts, PH will remove those many upvotes and bring your ranking down
6. Your efforts don't stop here, you need to maintain the same zeal for the 24hrs, till all the winner tags are given.
7. Put your entire team to perform these tasks as well.
8. Reach out to your product hunt connections (so make sure to have these)

Some tips:

1. Leverage all PH groups from various sites, people are really supportive as they understand the struggles.
2. Make sure to appreciate their support and support them back when needed, you form some good connections.
3. Keep posting and gaining some traction from your posts prior to and during the launch day, let the entire team engage
4. Enjoy the day, I promise you will have a rollercoaster of emotions, but make sure to capture moments, screenshots, pics, videos, etc and later they become your stories to tell.
5. Keep your PH accounts active and engaging
6. Look into other launches and tops products
7. Set a benchmark of the number of upvotes you want in the first 2 hours of launch
