Update on Meteorra AI β€” just shipped YouTube Video Analyser (paste any URL, see why it underperformed)

Hey IH πŸ‘‹
About a month ago I shared Meteorra AI here for the first time. The response and feedback genuinely shaped what got built next β€” so wanted to come back with an update.
What's new:
Just shipped the YouTube Video Analyser β€” paste any YouTube video URL and get:
✦ Title, tags, hashtags and description scored out of 100
✦ Exactly why each element is underperforming
✦ Optimised replacements with before/after comparison
✦ One click copy for each recommendation
Tested it on MrBeast β€” scored 30/100. He doesn't need good metadata at 200M subscribers. A creator with 10k subscribers scoring 30/100 is leaving massive discoverability on the table.
What else shipped since last month:
✦ Pre-publish content analyser β€” know your audience before you film
✦ Creator Statistics page β€” meteorra.ai/creator-statistics
✦ Posting frequency recommendations by niche
✦ Full before/after metadata comparison with copy buttons
✦ 9 SEO blog articles live
Still solo. Still during nap windows. Baby is now [X] months old πŸ˜„
Free β€” 3 uses, no signup needed πŸ‘‰ meteorra.ai
Brutally honest feedback welcome β€” what's missing? What would make this a no-brainer? πŸ™

The analytics angle is genuinely useful β€” knowing what's underperforming before you post is the kind of insight creators actually pay for elsewhere.

One thing worth flagging: there's no email capture anywhere on the site. No opt-in, no newsletter, no "get notified when we add X." Someone who runs a URL through the analyzer, gets their insight, and bounces β€” that's it. You have no way to reach them again.

For a free tool, that asymmetry compounds fast. You're trading real value for no future touchpoint. A simple "want weekly creator benchmarks?" field under the tool output would at least give you something to build on.

Really appreciate this β€” you're absolutely right. The email capture gap is a genuine conversion leak I hadn't prioritised. Adding a post-result email capture this week β€” "want weekly creator benchmarks?" is exactly the right framing. Thanks for the audit link too, conversion score of 62 tells the story clearly. Will report back once it's live πŸ™

The useful angle here is not just β€œyour metadata scored 30/100.”

It’s: β€œthis video had more reach available, but the packaging blocked discovery.”

That feels much closer to creator pain.

For a 10k-subscriber creator, the no-brainer moment is probably not the score itself. It is seeing exactly what to change before the next upload so they do not waste a good video on weak packaging.

I’d be careful that Meteorra does not feel like a YouTube SEO grader only. The stronger frame is pre-upload decision support for creators who need every video to travel further.

This reframe is sharper than how I've been thinking about it. "Packaging blocked discovery" hits much harder than a score alone β€” and it's more empowering. The score stays but I'm adding "your video had more reach available β€” here's what blocked it" right alongside it.
Really useful perspective β€” changing how I think about the entire results framing. πŸ™

        Glad that landed.

That result framing is probably the highest-leverage part now. If the output feels like a score, creators may read it once. If it feels like β€œhere’s what blocked reach and what to fix before the next upload,” they’re more likely to come back.

I’d avoid adding more surface-level tips until the results page is clearly built around that moment.

If useful, drop your email and I’ll send over a tighter written version for the results-page angle and creator conversion path.
