Updated my landing page, what do you think?

Last week I updated my landing page copywriting to clarify the value our product offers to increase conversions.

However, looking at Google Analytics, the change seems to have had the opposite effect, with conversions decreasing compared to our historical conversion rates.

Hoping to get some qualitative feedback on the site to help tweak my messaging.

Here's our site: https://www.chatkitty.com/

Edit: Also, here's a link to the previous version: https://website-snapshot--cocky-hamilton-931d4f.netlify.app/

I appreciate any help you can provide!

    Hey 👋

Well, the value is clear to me but when I read the page it seems to be all about your product.
It’s mostly focused on your product’s features and the things you’ve done:

    • ChatKitty is the…
    • Our real-time..
    • We spent much time…
    • ChatKitty seamlessly connects..

Perhaps amplifying the benefits from the customers perspective will be more fruitful?

Thanks for the feedback. I see what you mean. I can highlight the business problems we solve and relate them to our use cases. A couple of case studies should help with this as well

You're missing a section that shows how you can build the ultimate chat experience without signing up.
You're focusing too much on the YOU value and instead you should focus more on what that brings to ME!
Example: How do I add video-conferencing quickly into the chat? Can I even do that?

Would be nice to see a table with the features that come with the package and the coding time saved by not re-implementing it myself!

This seems to be a theme with the feedback I've gotten -- less us, more customers. I spent today breaking down our customers into different categories like Dating, Digital Health, Social & Communities, etc. And I've grouped our features together based on how they help customers in these categories meet their business requirements. I think sharing that information in a visual form will help visitors to better identify with the product and the value we provide.

I like the table idea. That's something I can do! Thanks :)

Hey Aaron, do you have the old version to compare?

Sure! Good idea. Here's the previous version before the changes.

        Hey again,
I took a look and the big difference for me is in the :
"Real-time Chat API with cross platform JavaScript SDK and Serverless Functions" vs "Used by online community platforms, marketplaces, dating apps, medical services, and everything in between.".
Might be that your audience is more technical so the first paragraph made more sense. The one about "used by..." it seems that just you are trying to fit all markets without going niche.
I know that you have that paragraph in both sites but the old one was as a paragraph and now as a heading.
What do you think, does that make any sense?

        1. 2

That makes sense to me. I had the same hunch. I think the previous header is more descriptive to the technical audience finding us through SEO.

          Thanks @mugas!

The product is pretty clear to me! But...

    Which is the target audience?

Because you talk about the easiness of use, but the "Hero Image" is literally a code snippet (which for devs is nothing, but if you target marketers in general, you just scared them away with that!)

    Btw, love the animations!

      Thanks!

We target companies building social apps like online communities, dating apps, digital health, marketplaces etc. to build user-to-user chat that keeps users engaged on their platform.
