Updates on my Startup Project: RedVilla (September)

It's been a while since I updated anything about RedVilla. Apologies guys. I have been very busy with my Professional life and Startup + Economist life.

As you know, Living in one of the biggest cities in the country has become very hard due to rising inflation and economic instability. It had been a challenging period for me as well. I remember in May, I was thinking about abandoning RedVilla because of AWS and other bills going out of hand.

But, After researching a bit, I got to know about the AWS Credit Program for founders. So, I applied. Initially, My plans were to just stop thinking about RedVilla being the future of digital technology and just convert the site into Music Production Services (My profession). But, it was very hard to let go of something I worked for 4 years.

I decided to stick with RedVilla and currently (From August and September), I have been thinking about how I can launch this platform and get users. But before users, Data was important.

I am currently collaborating, partnering, and taking permissions from many public domain digital product libraries in order to transfer the digital products on our website in bulk.

I have also been keeping an eye on Venture Capitalists, Startup Bootcamps, and Incubators in the USA in order to get our seed funding. I emailed thousands without any replies but, the main purpose of funding is to have enough user acquisition & retention.

Talking of data, Today I added over 1700 Public Domain Musical files and 900 Public Domain Video files on RedVilla. The data was taken from Opendata.

Organizing the CSV file took me a whole day to publish the products on the Website, But I am very thankful that today, RedVilla has crossed 1000 digital products on our website.

In the days ahead, you can expect more interesting digital products such as Public Domain Images, Apps and games, and other categories such as E-books.

Please feel free to tell me your opinions regarding this project, I will be happy to make any changes you like. Again Apologies for no updates, Will make sure to keep you updated in future~

Hi Alex, I offer free web design solutions for startups. I think that I am able to elevate the user experience. Are you interested? I can also see that you are using Wordpress with Woocommerce to build the site. It's the best way you could have approached it since you have a lot of freedom with it. If you have any questions regarding Wordpress feel free to ask.

Hey Alex! Please don't mind my comments, but I think the marketplace doesn't looks very compelling to buy.

I have some experience building marketplace with friends, the way that I do was building on top of shopify. so my co-founder (non-tech) can make it really good really quickly. also shopify allows a lot of integrations and custom storefront.

I think it might be better if you revised redvilla[.]tech, and build on top of other service might make it faster than doing all from scratch. (plus i think it's cheaper)

    Great idea man.

I would invest in re designing the site. It doesnt look very professional in my opinion.

    Good luck

Hey just a quick heads up, I entered redvilla.tech in the browser on my phone and it didn't load. i had to explicitly type "https://redvilla.tech" . Maybe you don't have a redirect from http => https?
