Wappalyzer - Neat tool to Identify technology on websites
Wappalyzer is a cross-platform utility that uncovers the technologies used on websites. It detects content management systems, ecommerce platforms, web frameworks, server software, analytics tools and many more.
Do any of these services show payment gateways like Stripe Braintree etc? I tried finding one on a site using Builtwith and couldn’t get it to work.
Yes, they do. For example SalesQL uses Stripe and it's detected with Wappalyzer. BuiltWith detects it as well.

I find builtwith to have a lot more technologies shown.
But their detection seems so weird. Viewport meta is a technology? CSS is a technology? Hard pass.
True that! But I find Wappalyzer's extension's interface to be more minimalist though.
And it comes as a Firefox / Chrome plugin. Very useful indeed.
I prefer B2BSaaSLeads.com for finding leads based on technologies.
Key reason is that it actually gives you information on companies like revenue, number of employees etc. so it's like an all-in-one package for sales folks. It also gives you email and contacts of decision makers so it's a no brainer to me.
I don't like builtwith/wappalyzer because getting just a website means I have to either get contacts from somewhere else or do it manually.
