We added Google Maps Reviews extraction to our Google Sheets add-on

Hey IH
We kept hearing a version of the same problem from marketers and agencies: Google Maps reviews are publicly visible, but actually getting that data into a usable format is a slow, painful process. Copy-pasting from Maps one review at a time, or wrestling with the Google Places API and giving up halfway through the billing setup.

So we added Google Maps Reviews extraction to Marketing Data Extractor, our Google Sheets add-on that pulls structured data directly into your spreadsheet in a few clicks.

How it works:
Search for any business by name and city, or paste Google Maps URLs directly into your sheet. Choose how many reviews to pull (up to 500 per location), pick your fields, and hit Extract. Review text, ratings, dates, reviewer info, and owner responses land in clean, structured columns instantly. No API keys, no Google Cloud account, no code.

Who it's built for:
Brand and marketing managers tracking reputation across multiple locations, agencies running review audits for local SEO clients, and marketing teams doing competitor research. Basically anyone who's ever manually scrolled through Google Maps trying to collect review data.

What makes it different:
It lives entirely inside Google Sheets, so there's no new tool to learn. You can search by business name if you don't have the Maps URL handy, which makes cold competitor research a lot easier. Preset field sets (Essential, Full, Analysis, Reputation) let you pull exactly what you need without selecting 18 fields every time. Credits are only charged on successful extraction, not on searches.

Pricing:
Pay-as-you-go credits, no subscription. Start free with 30 credits, no credit card needed. 10 reviews = 1 credit. Paid tiers run from $9 (600 credits) to $49 (4,500 credits).
