We Announced TinySeed's 2020 Batch Today...

Many of you know that I'm the co-founder of TinySeed, the first startup accelerator for bootstrapped SaaS.

Over the past several months we’ve worked hard to narrow down the field of exceptional candidates who applied for our 2020 batch, and today I'm proud to announce them.

You'll likely recognize a few of the founders and companies we'll be working with during the coming year.

Here's a blog post + a video, in which you get to see my quarantine haircut ;-)

    Thank you!
I was nicely surprised to find SquadCast there, very similar to what we're building now

The batch looks great Rob! As an investor, what according to you will be an excellent outcome for each of them, say 3 years down the line e.g. million dollars in revenue or $300k in profit. You have a bunch of partners who advocate slow & steady growth, that's contrary to 5% week on week growth YC wants. So, just curious.

It depends on the stage of the business. If they come in doing $5k MRR, I've found that the founder might want to 4x or 5x in a year.

If they come in doing $25k MRR, maybe doubling is more in-line with their goal.

While we do put out a goal for founders when they start the program, we let them know that there aren't negative repercussions of not reaching that milestone, and it's our job to help them think through and support them in achieving what I'd consider an ambitious, but steady (and sane) pace of growth.

Thanks for putting it down. It certainly brings a breath of fresh air in an otherwise hockey-stick hungry world of startup funding.

When is the deadline to apply?

Batch 3 applications will open this fall. We do have an application open for potential late entry into this batch, but no hard deadline on that.

Brought it back to the best of my memory.
