Hey Indie Hackers 👋
I’m Samreen, co-founder of VertexFind.
We’ve been building an AI recruiter that helps hiring teams screen resumes accurately and call shortlisted candidates automatically to ask screening questions and confirm interview availability.
Recruiters spend hours every week reviewing resumes, reaching out to candidates, and coordinating interviews.
It is repetitive, slow, and keeps them away from real human conversations.
VertexFind helps by automating both resume screening and voice calls so recruiters can focus on hiring.
Upload a job description and resumes.
The AI shortlists top candidates in minutes.
It then calls those candidates automatically, asking a few screening questions and noting their preferred interview time.
You get a ranked list of candidates, call transcripts, and ready-to-schedule slots.
What used to take days of screening and outreach now takes under 10 minutes.
Early users have replaced hours of manual work with one simple flow.
We’re inviting recruiting agencies, in-house HR teams, and startups to try VertexFind before launch.
Early users get:
✅ 5 Day Free Trial
✅ Priority onboarding
✅ Input into upcoming features such as AI follow-ups, voice tone settings, and CRM integration
If this sounds interesting, comment below or DM me for access.
I can also share a quick demo if you’d like to see it in action.
Hey Samreen, I always thought when we would finally have a genuine AI tool for hiring. And I hope this would be such an effort and would be helpful for my team. All the best to you.
Thanks for your kind words. And yes, it definitely would be helpful for your team. Please drop me an email on samreen@vertexfind.com and we can onboard you and your team for early access.
Interesting concept I’ve seen similar trading & finance projects get solid traction when marketed through niche Reddit communities focused on investing and short-term trading.
I help founders like you build visibility and attract serious investors through authentic Reddit growth campaigns. If you ever plan to scale awareness or build trust around your strategy, I’d be happy to share insights
That’s interesting, and I’ve actually been thinking about Reddit as a potential channel for us. Would love to hear your insights on what’s worked well. Let’s connect, you can reach me at samreen@vertexfind.com.
This is brilliant! The time savings from 'days to 10 minutes' is game-changing. I'm building AI tools for e-commerce optimization and totally relate to the problem of automation freeing up humans for higher-value work.
Two quick questions:
1. How are you handling edge cases where candidates have non-standard backgrounds?
2. What's your approach to voice quality/naturalness - are you using custom voice models?
Would love early access to test this out. We're always looking for ways to streamline operations at scale.
Hi Abhishek! Thanks so much! 🙌 Really appreciate the kind words. Totally agree that automation should free people up for more meaningful work.
Non-standard backgrounds: We handle this using semantic matching rather than keyword filters, so candidates with unconventional paths (like self-taught or career-switchers) still show up when their experience aligns with the role. It helps recruiters discover strong fits they might otherwise overlook.
Voice quality: We use advanced neural voices with natural pacing, pauses, and tone customization options. Teams can pick a conversational or professional tone depending on the role, and the AI adapts its flow dynamically based on candidate responses.
Would love to get you early access and your feedback. Let's connect, just drop us a note at samreen@vertexfind.com and we'll get you onboarded.
This is a brilliant use of AI! Automating both resume screening and actual candidate calls is a real game-changer. Most tools stop at text filtering, so adding voice screening makes it way more practical. Great work, Samreen 👏
Thanks a lot Shemith! Glad to hear the feedback :)
Sounds good
Thanks Daniel! :)
Hey Sarthak, congrats on the launch!
VertexFind looks like a really smart solution for that hiring pain. Automating the early screening is a huge time-saver.
Hey Vineel! It indeed is a huge time-saver. Thanks for checking it out :)
This is brilliant, Samreen. As someone who has been on the other side of the hiring table, the sheer amount of time spent on initial resume screening and phone calls is a massive pain point. Automating that first pass to get to high-quality human conversations faster is a huge win for recruiters.
It's fascinating because I'm tackling the exact same broken hiring process, but from the candidate's perspective.
My project, Ace Interviews, was born from my own frustrating experience failing interviews. I realized candidates often get screened out not because they lack the skills, but because they don't know how to demonstrate the specific mindset and judgment that companies are looking for.
While you're helping recruiters find the right signal in a mountain of resumes, we're helping great engineers produce that clear signal in their interviews. It feels like we're solving two sides of the same coin!
Really impressive work on VertexFind. The automatic calling feature is a particularly innovative touch. Best of luck with the early access launch!
