Hey all!
My co-founder and I launched Orbiter as a side project on January 1st. We always sort of had this feeling that we wanted to be an open source company, but we launched closed source. However, within about a month and a half of operating, we knew for sure we were going to open source everything.
We have officially done so! You can read the announcement here.
Quick tl;dr on what we do: We provide the simplest static site and app hosting on the planet. We believe our cost structure scales significantly better than the big venture-funded companies most people use. And we are bringing the fun back to the web.
Would love to answer any questions about open sourcing a company or hosting websites!
