Week 1

I plan to build an uptime tracker. It’s something that’s been on my mind to do for a while now. From the research I’ve done it seems to be quite a saturated market, one filled with many services that outwardly seem quite mature already. That said, I believe that there’s potential there. I just need to figure out how to carve out my own niche.

I don’t have that answer yet. What I do know is that
I do need a minimal MVP so I can get started on that
If I don’t start on it I never will
And I don’t know all the answers but if I keep at it I’m sure I’ll get somewhere.

Setup a git repo and simple RoR apps.
Simple signup flow
Read about personal branding

Built a working test runner on Ruby. For now I’m keeping things simple and just having everything lie in a single Ruby on Rails app.
