WriteBox is your companion to a successful handover, through digesting a codebase into structured, easy to understand documentation focusing on clarity and step by step instructions.

The ideal usage of WriteBox is for developers / entrepreneurs offloading their projects on marketplaces (such as Flippa, Acquire, BlueprintBox, etc..), as well as software teams to hand over their software projects to other developers. Users are free to choose different templates including a Business handover document, a Technical handover document, an End-user manual, as well as a marketplace listing copy.

Usage of AI as well as professional experience help to make this project a reality. As the protection of users' codebases and intellectual property is our priority, all uploads are encrypted and temporarily stored in a private S3 bucket, while AI trawls through the code and understands it to generate documentation. Once the documentation is generated, the codebase is removed permanently, leaving no chance for it to be intercepted. We also allow the option to generate documentation for public GitHub repos, and are working on a method to do private GitHub repos.
