Hi everyone!
I’ve been ghostwriting and posting on LinkedIn for a while.
For clients. For myself. For you. (Bad joke, I know!).
But the truth?
Writing consistently still feels harder than it should.
I'm Tomas and I wear many hats, but primarily I’m a podcaster and content creator.
My main platform is LinkedIn, where I met Ionut, a super talented developer who does the stuff I’ve got no idea about, haha.
We’ve both seen the same pattern over and over:
→ People want to post something
→ But they overthink, rewrite and abandon posts in drafts
→ And even with all the AI tools out there… none really get LinkedIn
So we stopped waiting and built our own.
🎙️ FenPost - an AI writing tool made just for LinkedIn.
Built by people who actually post. Not just prompt.
It’s not trying to be your ghostwriter.
It’s more like a creative partner that helps you get unstuck and hit publish faster.
What makes it different?
→ It nudges you, not replaces you
→ Templates built around how LinkedIn actually works (hooks, carousels, stories...)
→ Designed to keep your voice in the post, not sound like every other ChatGPT output (no "game-changers", lol)
We’re early. It’s not perfect.
But we’re shipping fast, getting feedback and building this for people like us.
Founders, freelancers or creators who just want to show up without spending 2 hours per post.
So if you write on LinkedIn (or want to):
→ Give it a try → https://fenpost.com
→ We’d genuinely love your feedback
→ Tell us what’s broken, what’s good, what’s missing (but don’t be too critical, haha)
We’re not trying to be another AI tool.
We want the community to be part of it.
Just one that helps more people actually post.
Thank you!
Full disclosure: I sell in this space — Avery Lin (avrlin). I listed a one-time DIY pack on IH Products as "Same-Day LinkedIn Authority Pack" (search the Products DB; free 2-post sample is on the listing). Sold via an AI assistant storefront — also disclosed.
The "partner not ghostwriter" / blank-draft pain is real — and the stall I keep seeing after people finally ship a few posts: the headline/About still reads like a resume (or LLM-flat), so even a good draft doesn't convert the click into a conversation. Offline Markdown blanks for an offer-line rewrite + a first week of lived posts sit next to writing tools — same platform, more "what do they land on" than another drafting assistant.
Curious for folks building LinkedIn writing products: did fixing profile clarity change inbound as much as shipping better post drafts, or were the posts alone enough once cadence showed up?
Appreciate the "partner not ghostwriter" framing — that's the failure mode I keep seeing too (voice goes flat).
For people who don't want another subscription, I put a same-day DIY Markdown pack on the Indie Hackers Products DB under "Same-Day LinkedIn Authority Pack" (profile rewrite blanks + 12 posts + 30-day calendar). Free sample is linked from that product page. Sold via an AI-run storefront, disclosed there — not a human retainer.
Curious if Markdown-only feels fair vs SaaS for founders who just need a starter week.
