Hi, all.
I see this is a relatively new section, much like myself!
I felt I would drop a little insight here. Writing copy is much more than just filling pages. Content on your website is what Google and other search engines will dissect and need to understand to rank you at the top!
I have written a plethora of articles. Ranging from 500 words up to 10k words. I have written for Amazon affiliate sites and more. I have also released a Udemy course detailing how to write about AA.
If you are looking to make a little money on the side, or build a startup, then learning the basics of content and copy can give you a huge advantage.
What resources do you recommend?
Hi, Volkandkaya!
Resources are a touchy subject in the world of SEO! Every guru has an opinion on what does and doesn't work.
The best way is trial and error. Focus on getting the basics right — keywords in place, title tags, readability, social sharing, site speed and cross-platform usability.
For content writing, practice. Practice makes perfect. There are some courses on Udemy which have helped me. However, I have found the most effective method is to do!
When starting, I wrote for as many sites as I could. I built websites so I could write content for them and apply SEO practices over and over.
It didn't take too long before I had websites ranking for over 1000+ Keywords in the top 100 pages of Google.
Best steps;
