As an indie hacker, what part of the process of getting your idea from concept to creation is the most confusing for you to grasp, or build?
I’m doing some market research for an eBook that I’m writing. Your answers won’t be used anywhere, but I may link to this thread.
Each reply gets a virtual chocolate chip cookie. That is, unless you are some type of monster 👾 that does not eat cookies 🍪.
Where can I start...
Focusing in a single project/product
Once I'm able to focus in a single project... focus in building a specific feature before starting with another one.
Also marketing and reaching people
"...focus in building a specific feature before starting with another one."
I know that feeling!!
Trying to figure out if I can/how to move forward on my current project. I have a general mvp up in a half complete state at exploregames.io, but it's scraping metacritic for games and then tying them back to another service. Game names don't match 1 - 1 and there is a lot of manual work to keep it together, on top of not being able to put something out there that relies on scraping due to the potential legal issues around it.
Since this is all built on being able to review things by popularity/review scores, I'm trying to find an alternative way to get that (not a lot of sources with a solid set of ratings for games). Also potentially thinking about how I could pivot this into something else, but not sure what.
