In the spirit of sharing and bouncing ideas off each other, what are projects of yours that you didn't finish, and why?

    Here's a couple I remember:

    • Service to help people with their car purchases (I was frustrated with how long and slow the process is in person and having someone do that for you would be so much better)

    • Ridesharing for HOV lane (i.e. I am taking a car to work, but it's only me, if I'd get 2 more people to join me in the car, I could use the HOV lane and get there faster)

    • Car stat tracker (connect an OBD-II device to your car, download/crunch/analyze the data, figure out the style of driving, provide tips on how to be more efficient, if something is wrong, etc)

    • Training courses for specific technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) - got the domains, but never found the time to get started with it

    • Website with cheatsheets for different technologies etc.

    • Tool/service that helps you analyze and get best deals on real-estate (i.e. get the latest data from MLS, analyze it based on certain criteria and alert the user if it would make financial sense to purchase it)

Thanks for sharing! The car statistics tracker sounds really interesting.

    Hey Luca,
I have a patent (# 5,895,304) for a play tool for Autism social interaction...it expired recently. I was never able to get funding to go beyond the prototype. I had backing from a Special Education Professor from a local university...but she couldn't help with funding. It was a great adventure though, and I learned a lot of valuable lessons.
