What do I do for saas SEO?

For a new site, SEO is something which takes a lot of time. Founders do everything they know to gain some traffic organically. SEO takes time but when traffic starts to come, it can compound over time. It may feel like shouting in the void, but the long-term impact of it is worth it.

These are some of the things I do for SEO -
1 - List your site on google search console to let the google know your site and list it in search results. After google indexing, your site is available on google.
2 - Apply the common SEO practice in your site for it to get indexed and ranked easily. Practices like heading (h1 - h6), keywords mentioning, writing relevant blog posts to rank on google for different keywords etc.
3 - Backlinks are very important - This is the thing which can increase your domain rating and authority. You can do it in various ways. Chat with your potential customers on reddit, X etc., list your site on platforms like producthunt, uneed etc. for further discovery and initial traffic, etc. Listing on the platform can be a very time consuming thing, so I created a service where we list your saas on many different high DR platforms and submit your a report of it.
4 - Creating free tools or micro-tools - This is a good way to attract more traffic and upsell them your service. You can promote these tools on platforms where you are promoting your saas. Just be cautious, direct promotions on reddit might hurt you.
5 - Internal Linking - Connect related articles together so search crawlers (and readers) can easily navigate your site's knowledge base.

What is currently the most traffic driving way for you?

What about brand mentions with no backlink? I heard it works for AI

      Never heard of it.

SEO is slow, but if every page maps to a specific intent (comparison, alternative, use case, feature), you’re not just “doing SEO” – you’re building an always-on acquisition system over time.

Yes. It takes time but it is worth it.
