What do you find most frustrating about planning trips and itineraries online?
I am working on a platform to improve the online travel booking experience. In my own experience, there are several pain points and issues that exist with products currently available, but I would like to get your thoughts on this.
- What is, in your own experience, the hardest part about planning trips and itineraries from scratch, both as an individual and as a group?
- How often do you encounter this problem?
- What did you do to try to solve it?
- What don't you love about the solutions you already tried?
Aside from the normal frustrations that the airlines, airports and international travel rules thrust upon us, nothing. I use TripIt and it really makes things easy. Are you trying to create a competitor to TripIt?
Thanks antarctican! TripIt seems great, but it's for the most part a place where to aggregate research you've done somewhere else. We are thinking more about an itinerary generator that actually generates content recommendations as opposed to a trip organizer.
