What do you think about the new Grok AI model?

I am kind of head over heels in love with the Grok logo, as a logo enthusiast myself. But the software itself is kind of a little inconvenient I guess, but only in terms of pricing!

Although paying for an AI tool like ChatGPT + real-time access to knowledge is kind of interesting. But what do you think?

The release of Grok is definitely a big shake-up in the AI world. It's interesting that they went with a humorous, even sassy approach, inspired by the Hitchhiker's Guide.

On the one hand, it's a fun novelty that sets it apart. But on the other hand, it raises questions about how well it will handle serious topics.

The fact that they open-sourced the base model is a big deal for researchers.

It will be interesting to see what kind of advancements come out of that. However, they kept the training data and methods under wraps, which makes it a bit opaque. Hopefully, they'll be more forthcoming in the future.

Grok is a promising new player in the field, but it remains to be seen how it will develop in the long run.

We'll have to wait for Grok 1.5 to see if the "substantial improvements" Musk promised live up to the hype.

I am definitely waiting on something about this! I'm a big fan of his other companies, especially his dedication to technology, but creating an AI model takes a lot of guts and innovation and lots of considerations.

The Grok AI model definitely caught my eye too, especially with that sleek logo! I'm all for a good design. Pricing's a bit of a bummer, but the idea of ChatGPT with live knowledge access is intriguing.

Real time & uncensored knowledge sounds OP. I’d bet utilizing its api’s would be limitless. What’s the pricing on it? I only saw a $16/m for premium twitter or free if you have the gpu to download it

        Yes, it's $16 a month. I think that's way cheaper than ChatGPT's newer model for real-time knowledge.

I agree! The CEO behind all this (I think we all know who) is really up to something. Not just in this AI model, but all of his companies.
