💕What do you think of this idea?

👨‍🏫 The problem

I find that one is overwhelmed with negative news, sad events... which can make people unhappy.

🐱‍🐉 The answer to the problem

And on the other side, there are a lot of people who like to make people laugh or who are always optimistic.

🥻 The Model: Connecting these people in the world

The idea would be that unhappy, depressed, sad people receive every week in their mailbox a 2' video of a stranger who jokes, who motivates, who gives a smile back...

💕A video that will make a sad person smile again.

🎤Can you tell me as a comment if you think it's a good idea or not and tell me why?

Thank you very much!

I like your energy. There are certainly different levels along the "unhappy" and "depressed" distribution. So you may reach some and make a change for the better.

I thought about something similar in terms of bringing people together. In my head it is "never eat alone". In a city you have this kind of open/limited/regular table where people just eat together. Maybe always different people. Maybe for the food is payed if the economics work out. I keep thinking about this and just wanted to share.

That sounds like a really fun project :) In my uni town, there was a specific bench where you could just sit and that would indicate that you are open to conversation with a complete stranger. The idea was lovely, but I never saw it used, maybe since we are quite shy in the north. So maybe a table is better since there will be more people that can join at the same time.

    Interesting idea:

    • Good: I like the positivity part of it
    • Not: mostly wondering about the practicalities of it.. if it is a stranger, how can we guarantee that the interactions will go well.. would people be anonymous..
However, to be fair, the more that I think about it, the more lovely the idea seems! All the best and it will be exciting to see what comes next :)

      Thank you for your feedback.
Yes, the idea is that it should be anonymous.
I think a video control should be done to avoid bad videos.
