What do you use for in-app updates?
I'm looking for a tool where you can display a popup/modal with the updates since the last time the user signed in.
This will, of course, not show every time they sign in, but I publish updates approximately every 2 weeks, and I would like to show the users in a popup. I know this is something Crisp.chat, and Intercom can do, but it's a bit pricey for me.
Should I build it myself, or is there a straightforward app to help with this?

BTW was it for in-app feature update in realtime or just an announcement that a new feature is there?
I found a solution, yes! The live chat/roadmap application I was already using did implement it some weeks back, so I'm good for now.

We built our own in-app update system, but thats not right for everyone. We only do as we have quite a complex UI and need to highlight how to use new features.
