What I learned by answering technical questions on forums for years

Over the years I’ve spent a lot of time reading and answering technical questions on different hardware and tech forums, mostly around monitors performance latency dead pixels and general troubleshooting.

What surprised me most is how often people already know the solution but just need confirmation or a simple explanation in plain language.

A lot of times they aren’t actually looking for a fix they just want to hear “yes this is normal” or “no your monitor is fine”.

Most problems aren’t real hardware defects but configuration mistakes wrong expectations or misinformation. Forums are still one of the best places to understand real user pain points not analytics dashboards. Spending time helping users manually teaches you more than any market research.
