What if online learning was structured?
Hey everyone!
I recently joined an ed-tech start-up called PathFinder. We aim to structure online learning so people know where to start and finish while learning a new skill. Our pathways are made by experts in the industry and the skills obtained would definitely make you more employable!
We have curated videos and online courses for anyone to upskill on UI/UX and other relevant topics - http://thepathfinderproject.co.uk
As you go along the path you can even create projects alongside the community to make yourself more recruitable or enjoy learning something new!
Our idea is to make online learning more accessible and less chaotic. So you save time on finding new courses or part IIs of courses.

To me it's unclear that "online courses are structured" is a value proposition, I still don't quite understand the problem. What sort of specific problems with the current online courses? Coursera also has different tracks for different career paths that you can follow.

Q: IS online learning inaccessible and chaotic at the moment? I'd challenge that main hypothesis. However, if it IS true, then your product should mirror the fact you're helping solve that problem. Which at the moment, it's not really doing...
Is your USP the fact you curate from Coursera / YouTube etc etc and 'tailor-make' paths for people? If this is true, then I'd rethink how you tell people about this value proposition, and rethink how users on-board on your site.
