What is changing in Google Analytics

First, Google Analytics can no longer track non-website traffic, which means there are some websites that will no longer be able to be tracked in Google Analytics. These include:
– Websites where users sign up for an account but never use the website
– Websites where the user is not logged in at the time of a request
– Websites where users sign up for an account but aren't active members of the website
Google Analytics is going to merge with Youtube, which will make a more powerful engine for analytics

Having in mind that Google Analytics still remains the #1 web analytics platform on the web with over 50% penetration, I don't think that Google will merge it with Youtube. We will see :)
