      When you say the "TDD crowd has been saying that for years" do you mean from the point of view dev in general (code, process, architecture, automation etc) or specifically in regards to testing. Although I suppose the principle stands regardless.

      Do you have any recommendations on where I can learn more about on the topic?

        I would recommend reading:

        • Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile Software Craftsmanship by Robert C. Martin
        • Refactoring by Martin Fowler

        I haven't found a really good practical book on TDD yet however. So if anyone knows one drop a comment.
