What should a successful startup team consist of?

What units should be in a 5-person startup team?
We are working on a project on desktop software. At this point, which positions should be filled for the core team? How did you solve this?
For example :
Founder
Technical Founder
Finance Manager
Market Specialist
How would you go about it if it was in shape? Where would you find these people?
Why do you think it should be 5 people?
Anyway, the roles.
I think you can go super far with 2 people. One technical and one non-technical. Both can have the "role" of co-founder.
Once you have X users or $Y in monthly recurring revenue, then it might be time to get a third person. You might not know ahead of time what role this person will have until you actually need them. For example, you might find that your startup is weakest at distribution so that's the person to get.
