What simple photo/video editing tasks do you find yourself routinely doing?

Hey All -

I have this foggy vision of building a dead simple to use web app for photo and video editing.

It's not supposed to be a replacement for Photoshop or iMovie etc but the idea is to do the simple stuff that folks routinely have to do like convert a video to a GIF or a PNG image to JPG etc.

I know there are a million tools but I wanted to build something that consolidates a lot of the popular use cases in a modern website. Sport of like the Smallpdf of media editing.

The other big thing is this app does everything on your browser so the photos and videos never leave your computer to hit some server. You may or may not care about that.

I am still trying to add some more features and would love any feedback on what I should be adding or not adding. What tasks do you find yourself doing that this could help with?
