What surprised me most while preparing my first automation product for launch

I thought the hardest part would be the automation itself.

It wasn't.

The biggest challenge has been reducing friction for future users.

Over the last few days I've spent more time on:

simplifying configuration
writing documentation
cleaning workflows
improving installation
reducing support needs

The goal isn't to build the most complex workflow.

It's to build one that someone can install successfully without needing my help.

That's where I'm focusing before launch.

For those who have launched automation products:
What was the biggest source of support requests you didn't expect?
