What tools do you use for Wordpress list building?
i built an advocacy site and learning-type quiz for what we call the Beltline in Atlanta ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BeltLine ).
i tried to install and setup and use a set of email list tools today and failed spectacularly.
one of the problems i had was the free list plan i was using from Mailchimp was all branded for one of my other projects, so trying to either set up a new list, or new 'audience', or new 'segment', or new whatever, then have it branded to my new project/organization - it was impossible. so i end up trying to set up a new account, etc. just a total time suck and disaster. but i'm not sure the details matter all that much.
i'm curious if there's an easy and free way to host multiple email lists for free. or, to be able to just capture email addresses and possibly never use them for free. or maybe there's a $9/yr plan instead of a $13/mo plan?
or maybe i took a completely wrongheaded approach to doing something i was expecting to be very inexpensive.
