What tools do you use to work remotely?

At oVice (ovice.in), we provide access to virtual spaces for our users where they can customize it and make it their own! You can turn it into a virtual office, host events, study space, etc.

Our goal is to really optimize the remote work experience by giving our users the ability to interact with their peers in real time. This helps promote productivity and collaboration and I feel it can really help you stay focused, no matter where you are in the world!

While we have a Zoom plugin on our platform, you can also engage in live conversations and video calls with anyone visiting your virtual space.

I’m a big fan of Loom for sending short video clips to my team. This way, they have context, and we don’t have to do tons of meetings for them to understand what’s going on. I find asynchronous communication best. The only time we use google meet is when we wanna catch up and hang out with each other. Between Slack, google docs, and loom the need for meetings has gone down dramatically.

For Tasks/Projects we use Asana (Marketing) and Trello (Product)

Google Sheets/Docs/Slides is also a favorite for collaboration

I am using:

Google Meet = for meetups
Slack = for team chat
Trello = for keeping track of my projects
Youtube and Google = for information and tutorials :)
