What's a good content automation process for newsletters?

Hi :)

I'm exploring a couple of ways to create a niche jobs newsletter. My subscribers select up to four role types they want to receive.

I would like to find the most efficient way to send each subscriber ONE email per week that has a few jobs for each Role Type they want to see.

So, it is possible in GetResponse (and some other email marketing tools) to create a newsletter with "smart" sections, meaning that only people tagged/segmented by group will see a particular section.

The problem is the workflow of getting the jobs into an email newsletter tool i.e. 'content automation'. Many tools offer integrations with Shopify (etc) to import products, but not content (unless i am missing something?).

The QUESTIONS:

• Which email marketing tools enable content to be imported, when that content is a job and not an ecommerce product?

• What is the best place to store the job data in your opinion - stick with a spreadsheet, move to a CMS or database or Airtable?

• How else could I automate a job listing newsletter workflow? Anyone else doing this or tried this before?
