What's some great advice you've heard recently?

I've heard a simple quote that just stayed with me to this day and I can't stop thinking about it:

"We cannot become what we want by remaining what we are." -- Max DePree

Enough isn't an amount, it's a decision.
Heard this on a podcast last week. Can't remember which one, but once I heard it it made me paused.

"You always over-estimate what can be achieved in 12 months and under-estimate what can be achieved in 18 months". - unknown
I found that to be True many times over, so we keep plowing every day.

-No matter what you do, the bullet with your name on it will get you. So, too, can the ones addressed "To Whom It May Concern".

-Once you've launched, it is way too late to wonder if this is a good idea.

-It is a bad thing to run out of airspeed, altitude, and ideas all at the same time.

There is always at least one person in the competitors camp who's life's dream is to punch your ticket.

P.S....damn Naval is sooo deep

The market-first approach from "Start Small, Stay Small" (1) really stuck with me:

"Market first approach: market comes first, marketing second, aesthetic third, and functionality a distant fourth"

I think one of my favorite advice is also from Naval's podcast. He said something about being patient, which sounds like, "the world is an efficient place. Quick doesn't work here." I don't remember the exact phrase but that really made me think deeply.

Sell to humans like a human

From the same series of tweets:

besides that, this tweet is something I think every indie hacker can agree with. Just starting out, this is definitely something that resonates with me.
