Without using GCP (already on AWS infra) what services can people recommend for managing user accounts/auth that are easy to add to an existing product? Simple email and password logins (OTP and other 2FA are nice-to-haves)
Any known red flags with the service you're suggesting?
You can try out Corbado for free (I've been working on it for the past months), in your case it would allow to use e.g. Amazon Cognito and add passkey-first authentication to your product.
Will check this out but quick glance seems focused on passkey. Interesting π€ I think i'm looking for something "quick"(ish) and "dirty" just to have a functional flow early on π I do like the passkey concept longer term!
Just tried auth0 for my first saas project, it was a breeze. There seems to good examples online.
I think i'm leaning more towards Cognito now as AWS is already my main cloud provider. Hoping it isn't too painful π
That is actually a good idea. I wonder if there is anything similar on azure. I mostly use azure fur personal. AWS for work.
I have found Auth0 very simple and easy to implement.
Just took a brief look, have realised I came across this for a hobby project in the past. I like it but the pricing quickly ramps up... I got told about 'Clerk' over the last few days - scales to $300/year for unlimited MAUs
