While most of my marketing these days is digital, I hit a realisation today that I may need to go old school for the latest side project.
My target market is condominium buildings juristic management teams, which generally have no websites, no public emails and now finding lower than expected public phone numbers.
One thing I do have is addresses of the buildings, even if it is just building name + city which the postman should understand. So about to brush up on the mail merge skills, grab some envelopes and hit the postoffice.
Any better ideas for how to hit this audience?
Here's been my experience:
Cold calls, as much fun as these are, work infinitely better than cold snail mails/emails. When I first started out, I landed 2 really solid clients from around 70 cold calls. My cold snail mails/emails netted 0 response, fwiw.
If any of these potential customers are local to you, follow up that cold call with a warm body. In the flesh can work really well because it lets your customer know that you are a human and not just 'spam'.
If you haven't, check out a few of the older Indie Hacker podcasts. There is a veritable goldmine of information in there on sales, marketing and everything else you could think of.

Will take a look thanks, just brainstorming for the moment.
