What's your favourite task management tool?

There are many task, and list management tools in the market that focuses on organizing your work. However, have you found one that truly helps you develop and improve your prioritization? Have these tools improved and pushed you towards your goals?

  • Todoist
  • Trello
  • Asana
  • And a bunch of other tools

    I mostly spend my time coding and I keep a TODO.txt file in the root of my repository. It looks a bit like this

    ### Thursday 8 December 2022

    • [x] Create images for successful CSV results
    • [x] Add iconName to files in bsc-scene
    • [x] Add csvName to files in bsc-scene
    • [x] Render file based on index or whatever

    ### Backlog

    • [ ] Type up what tasks to do until launch
    • [ ] Idea: All programmers should be pixelated, everyone else isn't
    • [ ] Write: BSC victory cutscene

      Thanks for sharing. It sounds like you currently have a manual process to keep track right? Would you be open to exploring a task management tool?

    I use a combo of Trello and Any.do and i works.

    And Clickup at times.

      Nice! thanks for sharing. Is there anything in particular that you like about these tools? And does it help you organize and prioritize your tasks effectively?

        Here is how my usage flow goes.

        the tasks when they come get added to the anydo list. and later gets added to Trello as cards.

        Clickup kinda eliminates the use of two apps since they have a kanban board built in. Since I'm kinda traveling most of the time during the day, adding tasks in a go to any do and taking up the tasks in batches to actually do the work makes sense for me.

        There's this slight liking for Clickup that I have but the AnyDo/Trello stack has kinda become my comfort zone.
