When do you start marketing in a competitive field?

I've built my MVP. I'm using it myself successfully, and I find it useful. However, there are quite a few competitors out there. When I look at the competition, they all seem to have a few more features than I do.

When do you stop thinking about features and go all-in on marketing (Product Hunt, etc.)? Can you still compete when you don't have feature parity with the competition?

I love selling products even before mvp is ready. You find your target customers faster. It is possible to bootstrap in a competitive market and get traction. Can help you with that, DM me on twitter.

Spoiler: product hunt will generate you 1 paying user per 1000 sign-ups
