Hi,
I have minimal knowledge of marketing and exploring more modern methods of SaaS marketing.
I wanted to ask the community the following questions:
Please do share your experience :)
With Tiledesk we launched our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@tiledesk) a couple of months ago. We are mainly using it for How To guides to facilitate the adoption of our product.
We are also doing some Video Ads on Meta (both FB and Instagram) and they're performing quite good :-)
That's awesome! Thank you for sharing :D
When deciding when to use video marketing, there are a few factors to consider.
Firstly, what is the purpose of your video? Are you aiming to increase brand awareness, build trust, drive sales or engage with an audience? Different types of video content can be used to meet each of these goals, so understanding what you want to achieve is key. Secondly, consider the platform you’re going to use to distribute the video. This could be your website, social media, YouTube, or a combination of several. Different platforms have different requirements, so make sure your video is tailored to the platform you’re using.
Hey @SaaS_with_San,
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
Do you think an early-phase startup should focus on video marketing? I understand creating feature demo videos would be a great start, but again it is more costly to make them look professional.
I believe with your expertise, you are the perfect person to answer this :)
The decision of whether to focus on video marketing or not can be a difficult one for an early-phase startup. While the potential of video marketing is undeniable, it is important to consider the resources and capabilities of the startup before making this decision. Video marketing can be an effective way to reach customers, build brand awareness, and engage viewers, but it can also be costly and time-consuming. It is essential to weigh the potential benefits of video marketing against the resources that the startup has available in order to make an informed decision. If the startup has the resources and capabilities to pursue video marketing, then it could be a great way to reach potential customers and build brand awareness.
What you said makes complete sense!!
I'll reach out to you soon to talk about how we can go about doing this for our startup :)
Thanks
Sure :)
