Where do I start?

Hi Obiocha. As another civil engineer making the transition there was nothing better for me than to simply start building something. I had an idea to help lake managers become more efficient and started. I used react (create-react-app) and just started building. I believe having an end goal in mind greatly helped lay out the building blocks. I'm definitely not a classically trained software engineer by any means, but react helped get my feet wet and enter the world of programming with little friction. Good luck to you!
