Just curious, do you guys do customer interviews before working on your product?
If you do, where do you find people to give you their business problems?
yes it's always important to talk to people before you launch. it'll help you figure out if theres a market for the product, understand if theres a need for it and they can even help you iterate on your idea
if you don't currently have customers to tap into, or if you just want to reach other people: I wrote an article about recruiting for surveys with no budget. The same exact principles can be applied to recruiting for customer interviews!
tl;dr is:
find groups relevant to your topic in places like:
and then just go after them! You have to continuously recruit and find new channels to go after !

I've just written an article about running customer interviews: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/how-to-run-customer-interviews-before-and-after-the-launch-66e986c007
of course! i focus on community BEFORE product. it's the only way to go, especially considering that you're early community members are effectively your early testers and customers!
in fact, i don't write a single line of code until i've validated the concept through customer interviews. this is how you build momentum around your concept and refine it so you don't waste cycles on development and engineering (i'm technical and have been doing this professionally for 22 years).
it can sometimes feel like i'm wasting time, but, it's the best insight that you'll get.
