Where to host blog
Greetings IH,
I have a software development agency and I want to start writing blogs and create content about building and growing products. Would it be best to focus on my development agencies blog, and post all content there. Or create a separate name and domain to post all of my product growth content on? Or both?

if you're just starting out, you should just do ONE blog because doing one blog really well is actually quite hard, mostly because it takes a long time to build the muscle memory to write!
writing is a creative art form which means it takes energy to do, even if you're a professional. so, you'll want to focus your energy into just one blog, one platform. when you go pro and know what you're doing, expand of course. but not until you've mastered the fundamentals.
one blog, one domain, do that for 90 days. see if you could write, consistently, a 400-800 word post, twice a week, for 90 days. if you can do that well... man, you're already pro.
if you can't, then, you'll be glad you didn't have to setup two (or three) blogs. lol!
Thanks for the advice! What if I’m just positing then same blog to 2 different domains?
why manage two blogs when you haven't learned to manage one well yet?
also, why drive your customers and community to two different sites that have the same content? that's redundant and unnecessary in the beginning... and could be a distraction.
blogging consistently is hard. even for folks who have been doing it for a while. gotta learn to crawl before you can walk / run!
