What I learned after selling women’s clothing online: comfort often beats trends.
When I started selling women’s clothes online, I assumed the most fashion-forward pieces would be the biggest sellers.
I was wrong.
The products that kept getting attention were the practical ones:
→ Dresses that are comfortable enough for a full day
→ Tops that don’t require constant adjusting
→ Outfits that work for errands, work, school pickup, and dinner
→ Versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down
It made me realize something interesting about e-commerce: customers aren't always looking for the most impressive product—they're looking for products that make everyday life easier.
That has completely changed how I think about product selection.
Instead of chasing every new trend, I'm paying more attention to comfort, fabric quality, versatility, fit, and repeat-purchase potential.
I recently came across Frishay’s women’s clothing collection, which follows a similar idea—combining current styles with practical dresses, tops, and everyday outfits.
For anyone building a fashion e-commerce business, I'm curious:
Do you think comfort and versatility are becoming more important than trend-driven fashion?
What has been your experience with customer buying behavior?
