Why I Built Port Detective

Something I get asked regularly is why build this when there are simple scripts that can do the task. The answer is simple, because existing practices are not always better. Port Detective represents a 1 click solution that is minimally disruptive to a developer workflow.

It's meant for those developers who need something quick and easy that doesn't require reciting a script from memory, asking ChatGPT, or looking a script up online.
