I built Audio2TextPro because I found most transcription tools either too slow, too limiting, or locked behind paywalls. Honestly, I’d been tinkering with a lot of these next-gen coding platforms just for fun, but I really wanted to see if I could push myself to ship something production-grade, solo—no dev team, no extra hands—just me, a few weekends, and a goal to create something actually useful. The idea was simple: a privacy-first, frictionless audio-to-text tool that works instantly, requires no sign-up, and is accurate enough for creators, podcasters, and teams. I spun up the base on Replit, connected it to OpenAI’s Whisper, and kept adding little improvements—speaker detection, 50+ language support, multiple export formats, AI summaries—basically, all the things I’d want if I were a power user. It’s been a blast learning and shipping fast outside my usual founder/day-job routine. My favorite feedback so far: folks transcribing podcasts in 10+ languages, or saying the zero-friction onboarding finally let them “just get it done.” I’d love your thoughts, feature requests, or ideas—this is just a couple of weekends’ effort, and I’m excited to keep learning from fellow makers and the community!
