Why Im working on this

For years, I managed everything in my own Excel sheet. It worked — I had full control, I knew exactly what was going on, and I could structure things the way I wanted.

But over time, it started to break down.

It wasn’t convenient to use daily, it didn’t scale well, and every small change meant more manual work. So I started looking for an app that could replace it.

I tried quite a few.

The problem was: none of them really worked the way I needed. They were either too rigid, too complex, or tried to automate things in ways that didn’t match how I think about money.

I didn’t want something smarter than me. I wanted something that gives me clarity and control — like my Excel, but better.

So I started building finio.live.

The idea is simple: a clean financial diary where you can quickly log transactions and immediately see what’s happening with your money — without unnecessary complexity.

Right now, I’m focused on keeping it simple and useful in everyday life, while gradually adding features like recurring transactions, financial goals, and better monthly overviews.

I’m building it primarily for myself — to replace the system I’ve been using for years — but I believe there are more people who feel the same frustration.
