Why staying close to users feels harder than it should

As a founder, I don’t think the problem is lack of tools.
It’s the opposite.

We have tools for feedback.
Tools for support.
Tools for announcements.
Tools for “engagement”.

And somehow, users still feel far away.

You end up bouncing between tabs just to answer one simple question:
What are users actually telling me right now?

Feedback is everywhere, and nowhere

Users leave feedback in weird places.

A short message in chat.
A vague bug report.
A comment on a feature you shipped last week.
Silence, which is also feedback, but the hardest one.

Most tools treat these as separate problems. I kept wanting one place where everything lands, without needing a whole support team or heavy workflows.

Something that feels lightweight, especially if you’re solo or a small team.

What oneFoundr is trying to be

oneFoundr is basically a single page where you can:

  • collect user feedback
  • handle support conversations
  • communicate updates
  • and keep users engaged
All without turning your product into a Frankenstein of widgets.

It’s not trying to replace Intercom, Zendesk, or anything enterprise-grade. It’s for founders who just want clarity and fewer tabs open.

If you’re curious, this is what I’m building: 👉 oneFoundr

Another piece that felt missing

One thing I kept wishing existed was a simple public-facing space for founders.

With oneFoundr, every user can have a public page where they list all the web apps they’re working on. Think of it as a lightweight founder profile, not a pitch deck.

Each app then gets its own dedicated page, and that page becomes the single place where feedback lives. Bugs, ideas, questions, general thoughts — all in one timeline instead of scattered across emails, DMs, and random tools.

For users, it’s obvious where to go.
For founders, it means feedback finally has an address.

The real goal: less noise, more signal

The thing I care about most is reducing mental load.

When feedback, questions, and user signals live in different tools, you don’t just lose information — you lose momentum. You start responding late. You start ignoring small signals that actually matter.

oneFoundr is my attempt to make that loop tighter and more human.

Still early, still shaping it

This is very much an early product.

I’m intentionally keeping it small, shipping fast, and talking to actual users instead of guessing what “the market” wants.

Because of that, I’m open to early adopters who want to help shape it.

If you’re one of the first users:

  • you’ll get lifetime access

  • and a featured mention inside oneFoundr as an early supporter

No pressure, no hard sell. Just building with people instead of for an abstract persona.

If this resonates

If you’re a solo founder or small team who:

wants a simple way to stay close to users

doesn’t want another bloated dashboard

and values clarity over complexity

I’d genuinely love your feedback.

Even a “this doesn’t solve my problem” is useful at this stage.
