If you had to move your blogs from WordPress to any other solution, what would be the reasons to do so?
I'm curious to know coz I'm building https://typestack.ai/
A blog CMS that's built for speed, SEO and auto enables your pages with AMP.
If I have to sell to people who use WordPress for Blogs what features would I have to build to get them to migrate?
Because I don't need the complexity of WP for a blog.
But the majority of product companies prefer WordPress for blogs over other solutions. Why do you think it is?
Don't know about alternatives and think it has to be that way. I've charged a lot of money to do stuff on WordPress blogs, 95% of those clients didn't have to spend 1000€/day on me to undo what the 5€/hour dev fucked up. Customization is a double edged sword for most companies that aren't experts in product design or CRO.
Because Wordpress is like 20 year old software with bad performance.
Make the same thing only better!
Do you think the ability to write custom code on WordPress has anything to do with people not willing to migrate?
I think the stickyness is the big 3rd party app eco-system.
