Why Wouldn't You use this tool? (based on my landing page?)

Check it out guys! :D
Two questions:
Why wouldn't you use this?
Where have I gone wrong with this landing page?
Cheers
The most obvious thing right off the bat is that it's just not inviting or easy to read with all the type reversed out and your headings in all caps.
Next, if I had just come across this page without any context, I would have assumed it was a blog post rather than a page promoting a product. If that was your intention, then I would follow through throughout the page and treat it like an advertorial.
If it wasn't intentional, then I would try to clarify things in that first section. Make it clear what the intent of the page is and what you want people to do. At minimum, add some sort of CTA above the fold.
I'm not a fan people trying to tell me things about myself. It could just be me, but I find it presumptuous. You don't know anything about me. If you want to mention things about who the product is for, it would be more credible to rephrase it.
The other big problem is a lack of credibility. Why should people believe that this will do what you say it will? Can you provide more detail about how it works to demonstrate? Do you have proof of the results promised? Can you provide testimonials or other social proof?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR RESPONSE MATE !!!!
The idea of it was to make a reallllllyyyyy long blog post type of landing page, so I kind of did my job but I don't think it was the best thing to do looking back
I know, credibility right now is a huge issue. I haven't actually made the product so getting a demo video is hard af. Any suggestions of how I could make one?
There's nothing wrong with taking that kind of approach, but I don't think it was executed as well as it could have been. If you do it like that, I would actually make it longer to include more information. Those work best when they keep the tone and structure of an article, too.
As for a demo video, I'm not sure that fits into the advertorial approach. I suppose if could, but, again, it would have to fit within the framework of an article.
If you are considering revising your approach to a more traditional product landing page and want a demo video to go with it, you have a couple of options.
One would be to put something together in a program like Figma. That way you could create a basic flow without needing to program the full functionality.
The other option is to create an explainer video that demonstrates the concept rather than the product. That's the approach I took on this landing page makeover example: http://www.seankirbycopy.com/landing-page-makeover-lakebed-io/
It doesn't look trustworthy & professional to me.
The design / layout is hard to read and the GIFs are distracting.
It's too much text. I don't want to read all of that to get a clear picture on what backs up your bold claim.
But maybe that's all just because I'm not in your target group.
For some this copy might work.
Thank you for your honest feedback - sorry it took me so long to get back to you!
IMHO the GIFs are too much. The content is okay but i would highlight this part:
and you've got a unique looking landing page for sure.
Also don't know about the BRO-picture at the bottom with your choked out victim, doesn't inspire confidence ...unless you're also a BRO-customer?
Yeah I agree with you, I do need to highlight that part...
BUT I LOVE THE GIFS MAN C'MON!! :((((
Bro picture hahahahahaha love it
I've added your page to our stack of pages to review here during our LIVE session teardown++ https://www.indiehackers.com/post/announcement-product-design-ama-livestream-on-may-12th-0a220ba2fd
thank you very much, greatly appreciated!
I'm not an expert, but I believe the design should be more modern & clean to give a professional impression.
Appreciate your feedback!
I can see where you are coming from 100%... sadly Spread isn't a professional brand as nor am I a professional landing page creator :(
did it make you want to sign up or did the lack of professionalism hold you back?
