Will blocking Russia affect reviews?

Since I'm writing productivity software, I've decided to block people in Russia to use my software.
At the moment, after installing the software, when you start it, you get a message "Due to the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian army, this software is not available in Russia." and then it opens the browser to the petition for peace on change.org.
I'm worry that this may have a big impact with many negative reviews from Russia.

Has any indie hacker also blocked their software from Russia and how did it affect the reviews?
Have you used another message or another way to block Russia from accessing your software?
