Will promoting too soon hurt long-term success?
I'm currently building a new project and want to get some initial opinions to help shape the product development.
Will posting the site to great resources like beta list now before I'm in beta hurt the possibility of onboarding customers via these channels in the future?
Are there better places where I should be validating and having these conversations?

I don't think so! If anything, promoting early on will help build a solid fan base that will be there for the long haul.
